As part of its long-standing commitment to helping create success for credit unions, Frost has again partnered with Insurance Trust, CUAlliance Insurance Trust University (IT University is the training arm of Insurance Trust) as co-sponsor of the IT University’s 2016 Spring Lending School. The series began in spring 2013 and, recognizing the tremendous value, insight and actionable takeaways these workshops would offer credit union professionals, Frost has been on board as a co-sponsor from the beginning.

Tower Federal Credit Union Wins Frost/TrueCar 2015 CU Partner of the Year!

Cincinnati, Ohio – August 23, 2016

Last year, Frost and its representatives helped more than 25 new credit unions implement the TrueCar program. The TrueCar Car Buying Service is a unique service that enables credit unions to offer their members a free and one-of-a-kind service. With the addition of these new partners, Frost now has a client base of more than 100 credit unions that are providing the TrueCar Car Buying Service to their members.

In the world of auto physical damage claims, the past year has seen profound changes. The wide-reaching
scope of these changes is likely to have a significant impact on borrowers and auto lenders, not to mention
auto insurers and GAP providers. In short, we are seeing an increase in auto accident frequency, an even
greater increase in the percentage of accidents that result in a total loss, and yet an even greater increase
in the percentage of borrowers left with a deficiency balance after total loss. Some of these deficiencies
result in GAP claims, and some result in very unhappy borrowers and/or lender write-offs.
