About Frost Financial Services, Inc. History 1972 – 2008

The Frost agency was formed in 1972 by Mr. Robert Frost in Cleveland, Ohio. The Frost agency was a pioneer in “Member Paid” Credit Insurance programs and exclusively served the insurance needs of Credit Unions in the Ohio market. In 1995, Frost Financial Services (Frost) was formed when Mr. Frost sold the agency to the current owners, Jo Anne Brashen, Marilyn Fadenholz, Roger Irvin and Philip Markwell.

Frost has two primary business channels, multi-line insurance services for direct accounts (primarily in Ohio) and its full service GAP Administration program that is sold through a national network of independent Brokers. The Frost agency continues to directly serve the Ohio market and offers a full line of insurance programs and services to more than 100 Ohio Lender partners. Frost has two sales offices in Northern Ohio and the Administrative office is located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Frost began specializing in the GAP market after its initial program was successfully introduced in 1998 to the Ohio Lender market. In 1999 Frost began developing the VisualGAP internet based tool and also began providing turnkey Administrative support for its GAP clients. With the introduction of VisualGAP in 2001, Frost rapidly expanded its GAP program to Brokers throughout the U.S. Currently, Frost works with more than 50 Brokers Agencies and serves the needs of more than 1,000 Lender clients nationwide.
